Mad Max Fury Road Movie Review MadMax By Scott Mendelson
Mad Max Fury Road Movie Review MadMax By Scott Mendelson
Mad Max: Fury Road Movie Review #MadMax ( By Scott Mendelson)
Village Roadshow, Rat Pac Entertainment, and friends have $150 million riding on the answer to that question. Unofficial tracking puts the opening weekend at around $40 million, which would be fine if audiences respond to the film’s quality and give it something resembling legs
This spectacularly great reboot is surprisingly owned not by Hardy, who is fine, but by Charlize Theron. Strap in, load up and hang on because "Mad Max: Fury Road" is a freaky, ballsy, phenomenal ride. If youre a devotee of director George Millers earlier Mad Max adventures, youre in for a thrilling reunion. If you havent met this international treasure yet, prepare for a treat.
Fury Road not only captures the same Molotov-cocktail craziness of Millers masterpiece, 1981s The Road Warrior-its also a surprisingly hypercaffeinated film for a director in his fifth decade behind the camera. Essentially, the story is one extended, spectacular car chase, which changes directions mid-movie to retrace its own footsteps as the stunts grow bigger and more outrageous with each passing mile.
The movie of the summer thunders in on 22 armor-spiked wheels, because an 18-wheeler just wouldnt do.The greatest achievement of the films psychedelic roller coaster is the potent and passionate music of Junkie XL, whose previous scores could have never hinted at the masterpiece composition he would create for George Miller.
Fury Road will please everyone who enjoys an action film, even if they havent seen the previous instalments. Vin Diesel and the Avengers might have taken the box office all over the world, however, Millers dystopic film will get stuck on your mind for a long time.

Storyline
An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. Theres Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.Viewers Review
Mad Max: Fury Road, starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, is George Millers attempt to reignite his long dormant Mad Max franchise...and my god does he ever. For the past decade or so, with exceptions such as John Wick, The Bourne Trilogy, and The Raid, action movies seem to be struggling to capture the excitement and enjoyment the genre once held; a tenacity that classics from the 80s and 90s had in spades. George Miller single handedly delivers our saving grace with Fury Road on the back of a spike covered oil rig with a blind zombie playing a fire breathing electric guitar.
Max is a man of few words, but Tom Hardys talent for portraying strong, silent characters shines through in a gruff but sympathetic performance. He teams up with Charlize Therons Imperator Furiosa to save the last 5 hot women in the world from the leader of a powerful cult with a terrifying breathing mask inspired by the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. From there, the chase is on.
Using this simple plot as the setting, we are able to bear witness to one of the most beautifully shot films in years. The world of Mad Max looks absolutely gorgeous, combining awe-inspiring practical effects and landscapes with bold colours brimming from all edges of the frame. These are of course just bonuses in enhancing the primary reason people will love this film, the action itself. Im happy to report these action sequences are damn near flawless. No shaky cam, barely a hint of CGI, and scenes where we actually feel like our characters are in danger (yes Furious 7 Im calling you out). Total chaos relentlessly ensues for the majority of the film, but its chaos you can follow clearly and marvel at. Whether its one of the explosive car sequences, or one of the smaller emotional moments, Mad Max: Fury Road refuses to let up on tension for one second.
Theres a reason this movie is sitting at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. This is an action movie that will set a precedent for years to come, roaring ferociously at all who may challenge it. Hopefully, this is only the beginning of a genre revolution early in the making.
FINAL VERDICT: Mad Max: Fury Road is a beautifully chaotic display of masterfully executed action sequences with a strong emotional core, and a raw energy unmatched by nearly all of its action genre competition.

Description:
Mad Max is a third-person action game set in an open, post-apocalyptic world, reminiscent of the cult series of films by George Miller, whose debut took place in 1979, and Mel Gibson a world movie star. The Swedish Avalanche Studios, the creators of Just Cause cycle, is responsible for the interactive version of the crazy adventures of Max. The publisher of the game is Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, specializing in games based on movie licenses.
The game’s story does not refer directly to any of the previously created movies, but tells a completely new story, using only iconic elements characteristic of the entire series. In the game we assume the role of the eponymous Max, who after losing his legendary V8 Interceptor vehicle sets off on a journey through the vast, post-apocalyptic wasteland. The purpose of his journey is to construct a new machine, which equals the performances of its legendary predecessor.
However, this is only an introduction to the many adventures awaiting on the way of the protagonist. Max hopes to find the legendary land known as the Plains of Silence, where he can finally find peace and solace.
