LOOK Beauty Event

Since I first saw this new makeup Brand in Westfield Stratfords Superdrug back In October I have been just a liiiittttle bit obsessed with it! I got rather carried away and bought quite a few things which you can see

HERE in my LOOK Beauty Haul video. So you can imagine my excitement when I was invited to the LOOK Beauty Bloggers event a few evenings ago! We all gathered in a stunning venue to have a peak at the new range which is currently being rolled out in Superdrug stores around the country.

It was lovely to see the entire collection displayed so beautifully and was great to have a play about and swatch some of the colours. I apologise about the quality of my photos, but I only had my iphone with me!

They have truly done a wonderful job with their stunning range of 32 eye shadows, Theres sure to be a colour for everyone here, and at only £4 per eyeshadow I can see myself building up quite a collection! My favourites of course being the neutrals, browns, beiges and golds, but theres a few more exciting and vibrant colours in there that Id love to try as well!

Im such a nail polish geek, so I was over the moon when I saw their stunning array of Nail Pop colours in store, and they looked fabulous laid out in their own little colour groups at the event so I just had to take pictures of them all! (How sad am I??!!).

Theyve managed to get just the right mixture or glitter, shimmer and matte finishes and a good balance of bold, brights and on trend neutrals. Ive owned a couple of these polishes for a few months now and I love the way they apply, the colour lasts for ages, and they cost just £5 each.

Again not a very good photo (sorry!) but I had to show your their beautiful lip products, Their Loud Lips Lipsticks - £7 and Lip Slick Glosses - £5 are a range of vibrant, on trend colours, so not for the faint hearted, although theres a few softer shades thrown in too! My personal faves are the Double Hit Lipstick and Gloss duos - £7. The lipstick and gloss compliment each other beautifully, making it the perfect lip product for your handbag.

This was my first Look at their Pro Palettes as they werent available in store back in October, they come with a mixture of interchangeable products and cost £15. This could definitely be something to add to my christmas list!

It was such a lovely evening and I had the pleasure of catching up with some of my favourite bloggers, and also met a few for the first time! I wished I had a bit more time to chat to some of you properly though!

When I got home I had a chance to have a look at the goodie bag that LOOK Beauty kindly handpicked for each of us individually which I thought was such a lovely touch. I cant tell you how happy I was with my goodies!

Sorry about my everything together on one arm swatches, but I thought id give you a peak of how the products look on the skin.

I have to admit, when I first saw the lipstick I was slightly scared, as on first glance the colour is a very deep brownish red, something that I dont think I could pull off! but I was so happy when I tried it out, it totally lives up to its name and applies a beautiful Cherry red colour, perfect for a glamorous evening look and something I might not have been brave enough to buy myself, so Im glad I got this colour!

There were so many more fabulous products I didnt get photos of including their foundation range, BB creams and primers, not to mention their range of blushers and bronzers, but this post has already been epic!!

All in all it was a fab event, and I really enjoyed the talk from Looks Beauty Editor Sophie Beresiner, which gave us a bit more of an insight into the range.

Probably one of the best things about the brand is that a percentage of every sale will go to the
Look Good...Feel Better charity, which offers women with cancer the chance to attend free makeup workshops in hospitals across the UK to help rebuild their self confidence and self esteem during their treatment. Its such a wonderful and worthy cause, so Its nice to know that every time you pop in to Superdrug and pick something up from the range, your giving something back too.

Id also like to take a second to thank the lovely Zoe of The London Lip Gloss for organising and putting together this lovely event for us all to enjoy! I cant wait for the range to hit my local Superdrug, as theres now so many more things I cant wait to get my hands on!
