MAD MONSTER PARTY Gallery Show

I have been very busy the past several months, but here is something I can actually blog about. Van Eaton Galleries invited me to create a piece for their tribute to Rankin/Basss "MAD MONSTER PARTY" gallery show and event(See promo below). Since I am an absolute Rankin/Bass fanatic, I had to do something. Above is a look at the color version (watercolor wash), as well as the earlier work in progress(ink and ink wash). Lots of cool artists in the show, and Rankin Bass historian Rick Goldschmidt will be there for a book signing as well. Happy Halloween.

MAGAZINE PARTY IN HOXTON

Last night I got all dolled up and headed down to Hoxton in celebration of the re-launch (and my cover!) of Blogosphere magazine.
The venue was buzzing and there was such a vibrant, positive atmosphere - Press, Bloggers & Creatives filled the room and It felt very odd to keep glancing up at my big old face on the projector but simultaneously it felt like such an accomplishment.

I wore the beautiful Chi Chi London Charli dress which caught my eye online while I was browsing their website recently and I received so many compliments on it throughout the night.

The magazine is now available and you should be able to nab it in most WHSmith stores in the UK.(you can also order it online - they deliver worldwide)
