Marudhu Story
Marudhu (aka) Maruthu is a Tamil action - family sentimental movie direction by Komban Fame Muthaiah. The movie has Vishal in the male lead role and Sri Divya in the female lead role. R K Suresh and Radha Ravi plays an important role in this movie. D Imman composes music for this movie.
Marudhu Plot:
Set against the rural backdrop of Rajapalayam, Marudhu is about a loadman, played by Vishal, and his attachment towards his grandmother.
When everything seems to be on the right lane for Vishal, his future mother-in-law (Sri Divyas mother) gets murdered. Rest of the film revolves around how Vishal avenges her death.
Count on the filmmaker for rendering a gripping storyline with adequate sentimental elements with a village feel. Marudhu is no different from his signature style.
Production
Vishal agreed terms to feature in an action film directed by Muthiah and produced by Anbuchezhiyan during July 2015, with D. Imman and Velraj added to the team as music composer and cinematographer, respectively. Lakshmi Menon was considered to play the films lead actress, but the role was eventually handed to Sri Divya.
R. K. Suresh was picked to play an antagonist, while Radharavi was also added to the cast of the film, much surprisingly, after losing to Vishal in a much-publicized poll during the 2015 Nadigar Sangam elections.
Anirudh has sung once song under Imman music. Movie is set to be release on Mid of May. The film began shoot in Rajapalayam in late November 2015, after a small launch ceremony.

Vishals Muthiah directed Marudhu follows this pattern and is packaged and presented in a manner that will appeal more to B and C centre audiences. Muthiah doesnt seem to have got over the hangover of his last film Komban, as the village backdrop,characters and presentation is the same.
The violence throughout and the climax makes you think how the film was passed with just a UA crtificate? Is this is a movie for the entire family? The love track and songs slows the tempo in the first half.
